Memories of Secret Santa

This is a shot created while practicing indoor lighting in Unreal Engine 5.
A few years ago, I participated in a volunteer activity called “Operation Secret Santa of Love,”
where I dressed up as Santa and visited underprivileged children at Christmas and gave them gifts.
The experience was so warm and precious that I shared it with my friends and participated in this volunteer activity on Christmas Day when I had no special plans.

In December, when I was learning interior lighting based on Unreal Engine 5 in graduate school,
this memory came to mind and I tried decorating the indoor environment and configuring lighting.
The Santa who entered this house was probably a new Santa who was anxious.
They left all the windows open and left behind lots of snow-covered footprints.
I captured the camera with the low gaze of a child who had just visited Santa and found gifts and cards.
While producing the scene, I listened to carols, recalled the innocent looks in the eyes of the children I met through volunteer work,
and focused with joy and excitement, as if preparing a gift.
It was a project that was completed before Christmas and helped people around me
have a happy year-end by giving them a video instead of a Christmas card.
